Thousands of people travel everyday, and being safe on these trips is always a priority. Lynn Hoff, the Saint Cloud Airport secretary says “People just want to travel out of Minnesota”.
Some travelers are always excited to travel but mostly have concerns about their safety.Others also have concerns about carrying sharp objects and liquids on their journey.
It’s memorial day weekend and there will be a lot of people traveling over the weekend .Upon arrival at the airport you go through a process before boarding an airplane, and this process is to ensure your safety, and that of everyone in order to meet your family safely.
“You go through a magnetometer to ensure you don’t carry any knives and guns”, said William Towle, the airport manager.
You also get to a clarification point,where you drop your bags and separate from your bags.
Towle says everyone will be screened so it is necessary to do the right things.
Do not leave bags unattended,do not take bags from strangers, take out liquids that are above the expected limit and do not carry knives and guns. Report anything when you have suspicions.
Before arriving at the TSA there are three simple steps you have to go through. First you show your ID and boarding pass,take out liquids and laptops and then take off your jackets. When all measures are taken you and your baggage will arrive safely.
